As a new Christian believer, I was just beginning to open up to what the Bible was saying to me. The Lord began to give me messages. I often would wonder what they meant. I knew enough not to question God, but write down whatever He spoke to my heart.

On July 13, 1981, the Lord directed me to begin a message, "October--the beginning of the end." I was puzzled. What did it mean? I understood the Lord to reply, "Trust Me. It's not for you to know at this time."

Three days after the terrorists' attacks on the United States I was searching my old files and came across that same message from twenty years ago! I would venture to say that now this message seems to have an urgency about it. Rather than the fear so many people have expressed lately, I believe the new understanding it brings is one of encouragement and hope in the One who is in control.

Read the words and see if now is the time to allow Jesus, who alone knows the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, to direct your life.
