Surrender to Me

I am a jealous God and would have
no other gods before Me.
I want you as My very own.
Surrender now your life to Me.
Allow Me to be your only love.
I heard your prayer,
the innermost unspoken words,
that desire to have Me,
to know Me without your mind.
I come now to give you this.
Surrender completely.
Let Me hold you in My embrace,
to hold you, care for you,
to love you as only a creator
can love his own creation.
You alone are important in My eyes.
For I have singled out this time
to be with you alone.
Nothing else matters,
you and I alone.
Can you now feel My presence
and the warmth of My love
surround you?
What else can matter now?
We have become as one, My beloved!
For I called you unto Me,
"Arise and come.
I long for your presence with Me."
To you I have given patience
to wait upon Me,
to wait and long for My return,
when we shall again be together
in the fullness of the Spirit.
