The Intercessor

Recognize the names brought before you.
They have been given to you
that you might hold them
in prayer before Me.
Each has a need.
You may not know what it is,
but you are called to intercede
on their behalf.
Your job is a quiet one,
not given to very many.
But you have been chosen
and gifted for this very work.
For I have seen your heart
and the compassion you have for others.
This is what I've given you
so that these may have your prayers.
Although the task is heavy
and requires much persistence,
you will rejoice in doing My will
and seeing the power of My answers.
