What prevents you from following Me?
Is it to kiss your mother and father
and prepare to leave them?
Is it the need to bury your past
and leave it behind?
What is keeping you from receiving
the fullness I have to give?
Are you afraid of not being
the one in control?
Aren’t you willing to trust Me
for your life?
Leaving the familiar often
brings much sorrow,
but there is more for you
of which you do not yet know.
Step out of the boat floundering in the waves,
and walk on the water towards Me.
For I have called you to come as you are
and will hold your hand until
you can walk by yourself.
Your Spirit-led life is more glorious
than anything your plans alone have wrought.
You are complete in Me!
