"So Saul clothed David with his armor,
and he put a bronze helmet on his head;

Put On My Armor

Do not rely on man's armor to protect.
It weighs heavy and keeps you
from action on your part.
Put on, in its stead,
My own full armor.
Its faith-shield protects
against every dart of the evil one.
The sword of My Spirit, thrusts through,
with only My word speaking truth,
and with righteousness, Mine given to you.
My helmet protects your head
while Gospel shoes move you forward
presenting My peace to the world.
I give you all authority in My name,
for it is I who fights for you!.
