Are you satisfied viewing me from afar
when I yearn to hold you in My embrace?
I am as a husband, seeking a bride
who will surrender herself to Me.
You have held Me in such awe
and admiration at arm’s distance
or beyond.
I yearn for your closeness, so near
you will know My words before
they are uttered.
Release what holds you back.
I give you the boldness to come forward,
seeking Me with all your
heart and soul and mind.
Let go, and let Me be
the Lover you have desired.
