I Bring My Light

Out of the darkness I come
into a world crying
out of its own destruction.
I come to bring the light.
I know the darkness in men's lives,
so dark they are unable
to see to walk without fear.
"Fear not," I say.
I have come as the light
to shine into every deepness,
into every corner of the mind
in deep despair.
For now, I use others to whom
I have already shone My light.
I use them to bring
My hope to the weary.
They will point the way to Me,
the greater Light.
To all who fear My name, I say,
"I come with healing in My wings!"
