"And when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,
got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum.
And it was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.
Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing.
So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus
walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.
But He said to them, 'It is I; do not be afraid.'"
(John 6:16-20)

Delivered From Fear

Be not afraid. It is I.
Just as I came to My disciples
while they struggled to stay afloat in the sea,
so I am with you, My children, today.
I see the plight you're in. I see fear
on your faces, on those around you,
not knowing what to do.
I come again and say, "Fear not."
Through the chaos and destruction
all around, evil and wickedness in all forms,
hearts grown faint and weak, having
nowhere to turn; when you've given up
and surrendered all to Me,
when you cry out, then I can deliver
with all the power of Heaven
and will never let you go!
