Gather in My Name

The Upper Room.
There My disciples gathered
in anticipation of My promise.
They came in one accord,
praying together, seeking,
trusting in Me.
How often do you, too,
gather in My name,
trusting in My promises to you?
That same dedication to Me today
would still bring the Holy Spirit
in power to be with you forever.
Come then, My children,
lay aside all earthly desires
to seek Me once again
as did your early fathers.
Let your adoration be only for Me.
For I am coming soon,
again to be with you as I have promised.
I wish none to perish, but all come
to an understanding of My truths.
Gather those around you
who need to know the more of Me.
Show through your love
that truly I am alive.
