The Need for Me

The need is there.
You all see it
on the faces of those you know.
In the hearts of lost ones,
what do you see?
You see their need for Me;
empty lives devoid of joy;
hearts needed to be gladdened
with the Good News
that I, your Savior
died for her, for him,
for all peoples of the world.
Yes, all who would confess
their need for Me can be saved.
But, dear one, can you see that need?
Have I not met yours
and you do not yet see
what I have given you to do?
Awaken from your complacency.
The time has come and now is at hand
for My soon return.
Have you dropped the seed
or tilled the soil;
or watered the ground
or brought in a harvest?
I need each one called to the task.
Have you heard the need?
